Just to add... TP are a little shocked at the min - many unaware members. Maybe a leavers post... just watch out that its not viewed as pimping. I'd hate to see the thread vanish - nanobot tried to start a thread last night with a direct link to Seti@home team 'Liquid Ninja' ...its either been Mod'ed or he withdrew it :(

What can I say? You will all be sorely missed (who am I gonna share my moto-x adventures with now, KMS?) ;)

Annnnyway, back to this whole SETI thing. I have never been a part of it. I do not know what goes on at Team Picard...the only time I ever went in there was to look around when there was all sorts of fighting.

We had a few people on this board, and I dont know what other teams they were on, but they all said they would give a LN team units. KMS set up the team, I figgured I would help out some, as I have other friends from other places who I know would like to join in too.

I saw Nanobots post, and it seemed to be aimed at NY I think. I dont know who else from here was a TP member. Was KMS, I dont know. Heres the deal, the creation of the team was a spur of the moment thing here yesterday. I do not give one flaming shit about competing with Team Picard or anyone else. I don't care about any of this childish sniffling about who's leaving what other team to come here.

I can understand their being questions or concerns about TP members, and if you guys want to ask questions, I think that its okay to do that. I don't want to see this escalate any further though, and I really dont want to have to start deleting posts on this board.

People like Nanobot had better get their facts straight before making wild remarks that stir up trouble. As for NinjaMicros, it has been made abundantly clear to me that the owners have misconceptions about this site, and want absolutely nothing to do with us. And I dont want this to become a public discussion either. But there are no ties between NM and LN now, and I feel free to do whatever I want, be it start a SETI team, or write articles or whatever. We tried to work with NM, and if that had gone through, of course I would be more careful not to step on toes. But, I have no reason to not do anything because of NM.

As for TP members joining this seti team. Well, that is their personal decision. The LN SETI team is NOT based on these people leaving TP for any reason. This team is here, LiquidNinjas made it. Individuals from other sites are more than welcome to join. i doubt we'll ever have enough members to be competitive.

This is a for-fun thing. It was a spur of the moment thing. This is not directed in anyway at NM or TP, or anyone else. We just want to do something just like any other site would.

If you have specific problems with how members of TP left, take it up with them personally. This forum is not the place for any ill will. And LN is not responsible for the actions taken by any one of it's individual members.
