Hi Tom,

On my first system, I get a WU every 3 1/2 hours.
On my second system I get a WU every 4 1/2 hours.
On my third system, I get a WU every 5 1/2 hours.
On my fourth system, I get a WU every 30 hours.

That is a lot of noise and heat produced per WU, huh?

(I have been told by the homeboss that the electricity bill requires that I drop to 2 systems for SETI. Seems like it is running approximately $10.00 a month per system. Thank God for work systems...........)

Sounds like my fourth system is about the same as your system.

It is not the amount of crunching, it is the fact that you are crunching.

This thread is so old, I had forgotten about it.
Man, that was a long time ago.
That was back when the systems were at Microsoft, not the home systems. They were doing SETI.
