OK this may be a dumb ? but how do ya burn an ISO to a disk using nero :confused:

rename it to .nrg :)

Or in the file browser for the burn images option you just view all files, instead of just nrg files.

OR hehe...

Go to File menu, look down and theres an option called Burn Image (or something like). It will view on .ISO :)

OK thanks, is there any other settings that need to be set like block size, image header ect. The ISO I'm attempting to burn is an operating system would I have to make it bootable

You don't HAVE to make it bootable, but is'nt it more funner that way??

the newest version of nero should pick up that info automatically (i think mine does cos i've never entered any of that info)

and regarding making the disc bootable... because its an image its an exact copy of whatever was on the origional. so if the origional was bootable this one will be too... if the origional wasn't bootable then you'll have to burn this disc as an image anyway and then create a new bootable cd and copy this info onto it normally... not sure that would work for an OS disc but you can try

If you read the second page of my article on XP slipstreaming you will see how to make a bootable cd with Nero.
