I find file transfers really slow too.. I've had a similar sort of rate from a raid0 array to a samsung F1 drive, also in the same computer. should be at least twice that speed..

I think its a vista thing - lots of people complaining of slow transfers.

all the more reason to just use it for texas hold'em and nothing else.

i noticed the other day that my raid card is the suck. I am not sure if its the pci buss or the card that is lame. but next time i wont cheap out and ill get a real raid card. my 4x 250gb wd's only bench at 35-60mb /sec
