Ok guys I am looking for a u160 SCSI card. I don't need RAID, so hopefully someone will have something to help me out. Oh and if anyone has any drives for sale I am looking for one too.

Adaptec 19160 is a good scsi card for under $160ish. Its PCI 32bit, so will work in all motherboards.
If you use NT server tho...you need the 29160N, which is the same thing, but $80 more and works on server.
Do you need a 64bit PCI card?

I was looking at the Adaptec card, I will just be using it in my gaming rig, I have always wanted to give SCSI a try. SO I won't need a 64-bit card.

NY, hehe...a WD special edition drive with 8m cache will be just as fast as a SCSI drive. Maybe with a slightly smaller seek time (6ns versus 9ns), but...i tell you, unless you are raiding a bunch of them, U160 just isnt better than ATA these days :)

Thanks for the offer Lee, I did not even see a response here til you mentioned it in the other thread.
Actually I decided to get two Maxtor 40gig Quiet drives and a Highpoint 133 Raid card.
I got all that for the price of one 20 gig U160 15,000rpm SCSI drive.
Even with the card you offered SCSI is just too expensive for me.
