Hay guys, can i plug a computer into a laptops VGA and use it as a monitor?
Like have a pc's video card plug in the laptop vga port and switch between the laptop desktop and the pc's desktop? Know what I mean. LOL Or is the laptop vga port only output

ITS OUT ONLY. FOR LIKE 50-60 BUCKS YOU CAN GET A VID CAPTURE CARD.

I though so. Its a PITA when someone brings over a pc for me to fix and
I have to crawl behind the desk to unplug the cable from my pc
I guess i shod just pick up a old ctr someday and use that.

yea i couldn't live without my KVM every since i picked up a nice one 6months ago. its nice having that extra set of cables just lying on the side of the desk for test beds.

thrown out =( you're suppose to send stuff like that to the north jersey computer graveyard. AKA synth's house so when i visit i can ask why he has 20year old ram modules and a dozen KVMs switching themselves.

I think I gave at least one to a buddy at work. I dont like throwing anything out but I had a lot of stuff I couldnt manage to even give away :)

Well I pick up a PC at a yard sale today for $10 had a 17" ctr so I'm all set now, also got an autobike (Autobike brings automatic transmission simplicity to cycling. Its 6-Speed Shimano derailleur system uses centrifugal force to shift) for $15 and a toolbox full of tools for $10 :) Love yard sales LOL
