Yet another Piece of hardware has gone south on me. :(

My PNY GF4 4200 has quit working in games now.

I think I'm going to cry. I'm starting to think it's me :confused:

What the hell is going on? I think it's Karma but I haven't done anything bad lately. It must be just a string of really bad luck 'cause if it was Karma all of the parts that went bad would not still be under warranty :)

FedEx is loving me lately. ;)

Looks like I will be having a extra RMA system soon. Going to have to clear the CC and get a Gainward. :cool3:

I love ya man. Having you here is great and all, but....have you ever considered another hobby?;) Man, this stuff is expensive enough let alone having it obsolete while on RMA.

I just looked at the terms of the warranty and I see that they want proof of purchase. I just tore my room/car apart and I found every recipt from CompUSA I have within the last 1 1/2 years.

Do you think the one I need is there... NOPE!

Called PNY, got an answering machiene and when it came time to leave the message I get "users mailbox is full" and I couldn't get anywhere. :(

I've had the thought of just throwing this F'n thing out the window. I won't but the thought crossed my mind.

I guess if you aint breaking you aint trying hard enough.

Well...geez. When it rains it poors. You know the cliche that people die in threes? Well hardware does the same thing ya know ;)

PNY is crap, and Ive actually had a PNY gf2Mx card die on me before for no reason.

If you bought it at CompUSA with a credit card, they might have you in the computer base. It worked for me on a monitor that crapped out for which I did not have the receipt.

Just a thought...might be worht a try:)
