I've resurrected plans to build a gaming rig based on an IC7G and P4 2.4/800/512. Need recommendation for video card. Suggestions?

2600xt or 7600gs
both ati and nvid cards are agp8x
find a 512Mb version of either and you should be fine:)
around a hundred bucks for either.

I would go for more..

you should be able to scratch up a 7800GS for a good price on the bay. If you weren't so far away, I would offer to sell you one. I have both the X1950Pro and 7800GS for AGP, find performance pretty much the same.. slightly more FPS from the ATI card. Both should be cheap 2nd hand by now.
