I have a dell latitude 6xx something. A while back the HDD went tits up. I had a spare 20g floating around so that went in. Now it's full like a hooker on payday. For some reason I seem to me under the impression there two different types. Anybody want to tell me different and maybe possible suguestions?

It's old so I will assume IDE. I was thinking, maybe because the Dell has a little connector thingy on it that there was different IDE connections for lappy drives. I know they're not the same as desktop drives, I've used a lappy drive with a convertor in a desktop before.

Its a mini ide connector, aka ATA-6.

Anyway you're looking at $60-$100 for one at the Egg. Which is omg cheap wow. Makes me want to go to a 5400RPM drive too. 5400, 120G for like $60. Nice.
