This time, it was my Seagate. :( And on top of that, it was the backup Seagate I had been using for a few months in the computer which saw very little usage before that. The hard drive sounds like a little kid riding his bicycle with playing cards in the spokes of the wheels. It spins up and it starts flapping away.
I've had 3 drives blow on this computer with 2 different power supplies. Am starting to wonder if it is related to either my MB or PSU. But it has happened with different PSUs.
But with the noise the drive is making, it sounds more like a hard drive failure due to itself than something the MB could have caused.
I don't know. Someone hold me. :(
