Whats going on all these posts about ut3 and other games. Aint there any liquid gamers who played cod series lol.

Been a massive cod2 fan for couple of years. Could drop most people with a kar before they even seen me. Now playing cod4 (when im not blue screening - lol from those of u helping me with my memory issues) there is no weapon even close to kar, snipers are ordinary. Assualt weapons is the go, gotta get good shooting em off hip.

I ranked up to level 33 already after 2 days of player (8hrs gaming total) :thumbsup: Heaps of ways to get xp and unlock laser scopes, rocket launcher and other neat perks.

PotW has 1 cod4 server at the moment with more to come sure of it.

My clan is getting right into it. Lots of keen ex Cod2 guys. We've got a local server up.. the GSA one. Only went up a day or so ago. I managed to max my dload this month, so I am behind the 8-ball.
I'm in the JungleWraiths. Are you in a clan?

I should mention im a aussie potw member so its been 12+ mths since ive played on our american cod2 servers. Always playing scrims for invite leagues, isp league, sd servers and occasionly on our aussie dm server (ranked 1 in australia OHHHH YA)

Whats your xfire unacceptable risk?? mines elmichael. PS my RAM didnt tolerate 2.1 V got heaps of errors on memtest 1.95 - 2V gives least errors. Still need to try loosening timings to see if that helps justed wonted to make sure i changed right settings. Got a post on memory diagnostics thread asking lol

Sorry I haven't used Xfire for a few years.. Just one more thing that runs in the background while I am gaming, and it conflicts with my main game ArmA.

But as soon as I get Cod4, I will track you down for a game or 3. Do you use Teamspeak? and do you have a regular server you like to use?

Yep i use potw team speak (ours clans) and i play on internode, gamearena servers when i want a easy public game. I play on netwars and a few other servers if i want a challenge :thumbsup: Those are all australian servers :) I come onto american potw to play against u if u like but my ping will be 250ish :scared:

I'm in Brisbane mate. :D I use node and GA. But I like to use the GSA servers whenever possible.. Just because they are better administrated.

Sweet another aussie. I just got back from one of my final uni exams (nailed it 100% prob :thumbsup: or close enough haha) so im going to take a day and a half off before i start to prepare for my next one. I will be on servers tonight with a few from my clan prob.

My In game name is *{PotW}* Druggy (used to be druggist) and like i said my xfire is elmichael. I know u dont like to have it on when u playing but if u wanna add me and then u can find server im on (or vs versa) and we could play a few maps. You can quit outta xfire once u have got into same server. Ive had cod4 crash twice already with it crashing with xfire.

Also my memory problem has got worse. My game blue screened once yesterday and my pc plain froze three times also. All in about 3hrs. I couldnt ctraltdel or nothing had to hold on/off button and restart. I didnt get a report or anything about it.

Im thinking i should sit my case up on desk and pull RAM out then reput em into the slots. Ive dont it once before on a old pc, and recall main thing was making sure RAM was parallel to slot before u push it into slot. If that doesnt fix im going to have to contact the people who built pc and get em to replace RAM. I will need to get a refund for the RAM not sure who from because they people who built my pc (Netplus) didnt supply the RAM as they didnt stock the timings i wanted (Vtech supplied RAM). So hopefully vtech will just refund or netplus will send to corsair on my behalf. Would be easier.
What a pain since netplus is 100km from my house ahhhh :mad:

My FPS gaming nic is Medicare. or [JW]medicare. Its been so long since I xfired, I can't recall what name I used. It would be medicare something..

Yeah that ram situation must be frustrating. Theres no real trick to reseating it. It can only fit in one way, and its pretty straight forward. One tip I would give is, sometimes the ramslots are on or near the edge of the board, and depending on the case its in and who built it, sometimes there is no supporting screws on the edge of the board. In these cases, I like to slide a finger or two under the mobo while I press down on the ram, just to prevent flexing the mobo.

If the reseat doesn't work, try removing one stick and testing.. then swap, then change which slot your testing, etc, until you can establish whether its one stick missbehaving, or both.. or possibly even a slot on the mobo thats crook. With the returning.. Probably easier to go directly to Vtech.. hopefully they are closer.
