This looks at U.S. Census data and compares Zip code info. Kinda interesting

Very interesting :)

And it actually works, too. I compared the decent area I live in with the zip code of a slummy area, and all income & educational figures were definitely down.

Everybody's poor, dumb and white here.

I found very interesting results for my neighboring towns. the difference in education and income between neighbor cities can be staggering. Of course there is a sure link between education, income and ethnicity. I personal have the tendency to believe that by way of culture whites and asians in urban and suburban areas favor and push education very hard, that is not to say other ethnicities don't do the same but from my personal experience i have observed that on average poor immigrants (particularly hispanics) don't come from their native countries with a strong background in education. there are of course a good number of shining examples of the opposite.

It should be noted that according to the census, healthy marriages also play a role in higher incomes.
