Another vote for 2003 here. Rock solid, and just about bug proof. Its the XP I always wanted lol.

Ive never used 2003 before, and I've had a less than good experience with Vista.. So my vote had to go with XP Pro.

I voted XP Pro, although ME would have gotten a vote from me too as I had it running for 2 years problem free ;)
Vista looks good, but it sure as hell ain't ready for anyone who does more than browsing and IMing.

Our polls have a limit of 10 choices, I had to leave out quite a few. :/

On another note XP is generally faster and the 64 bit version of XP is the fastest .... Vista eats your memory and I am going to swap back to XP64 when I have the time for a reinstall ....

What do you like about Vista? Anything? Or is the decision to go back to XP64 simply a no brainer?

Hi,
Vista works fine. security and networking are prob the best things about it, in the end it depends if any of the features are anything you want. For me there is no advantage over XP has an approx 10GB base install .... It is slower in most real world stuff such as copying from one hard drive to another. CPU tests I think are showing it to be between 2% and 7% slower than XP which is probably down to all the background services that are running, you can a lot off back then you have to think about what they will impact upon .... http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/01/29/xp-vs-vista/ is a start
