Hahahaha omg, I feel ill. Just looking through the recipies on that site, and I get the impression the whole site must be a hoax.. no seriously!!!

Anyway, I am not sure I have ever had a waffle.. But I make a mean pancake.

I need a bit of advice... what's the best way to clean puke off your keyboard? ;)

I've eaten some pretty interesting things in my days, but that looks gross.

Waffles with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream... but pancakes are good too :D

Who even comes up with these ideas!?

You know what it's like when you're the world super power - the same thing happened in Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, Napoleonic Empire, British Empire and continued all the way to modern times (this isn't an exhaustive list by any means, merely a finite number of examples as dictated by the limited space). The decadence that comes with global domination. They're bored and trying to find new ways to pass their time, which is ironic as they're also finding new ways to save time to be able to spend more time doing 'stuff'.

The Romans had feasts and orgies but America's too 'Christian' to do that, so they've got to find more wholesome ways of being decadent :D

Sausage wrapped in pancake is a symptom of this pursuit of wholesome decadence. Couple this with the time-saving element of microwave food-on-a-stick-ness and you've got what could well be the defining symbol of present-day America to the rest of the world! We non-Americans simply don't have the ability to understand as we've not got the same level of global dominance!

Its a good theory.. but I'm not sure it can explain Haggus.. ??

You mean haggis? That was a necessity, really. It's cheap and nutritious - the lower classes needed to use everything that they made, so the sheep stomach was filled with barley and other 'stuff' (offal, blood, spices etc) turning it from leftovers to a nutritious meal. The same can be said for black pudding etc. I have to say, I like haggis a lot and I'm partial to a bit of black pudding - my home town, Bury, is famous for black pudding. They sell them on the local market ready to eat! It's kinda bizarre seeing people wandering round tucking into a blood and offal food product like you might a burger!

Ive only tried haggis once, but I cant say that I liked it that much!! And I just dont think I could bring myself to eat black pudding..

Sounds bloody offal to me lmao!! Pardon my spelling lol.

I've been trying to think of something truly disturbing that Aussies eat and all I can think of is Vegemite, which I could eat with a spoon lol.

I would have to say Hungarians have the scariest cuisine I can think of.. MMM fishhead soup. But then, I am the biggest food wuss I know. I guess theres something for everyone.
