which do you CURRENTLY subscribe to DSL, Cable or Dial-Up or other for your internet connection at home?

I couldn't live without my cable connection, makes me wonder how we all survived on old antiquated dial-up LOL

My father had one of those 1980s modems (in the 80s of course;) ) that you had to actually put the handset on the modem itself :D

oh sure remind me of my age dont ya, i had one of those "war games" modems too. 150-300 bps top speed iirc
ok, i didnt own it, but i used one at a neighbors house who also had one of those teletype machines because he was deaf.

DSL, Dial up was hell. If you can, definitely try and get a faster internet connection.

yea, yea, yea all you people live it up with ure fancy dsl and cable, hell i wish i had a good 56k connection....right now im hooked up to a little satalite along with abunch of other people... when i download things it reads--rate = 0kb/s..but every 3-5 seconds the total kb's downloaded so far goes up another k so charish ure high speed connections, and dont go to iraq.

I havent voted yet since I have both. I paid extra for my cable service to get more juice (a.k.a higher QoS), and I paid less of a vig to verizon to get 10 real IP addresses all for me.. problem is.. if I try to load balance... how can I make proper use of those legit IPs? Just track my cable IP and perform reverse dns for it? Dont tell me about delegation. I can still dynamic dns to a domain I never renewed (in 2 years)

I Use Dialup For Phreaking And My BBS (Not Set Up Yet, Still Need A Miggy Or Mac)
Cable For My Regular Stuff, And Wireless For My AMD Jerry Rig :)
