I ordered my card from them Wed around 5:00pm.
Thurs afternoon it gets cleared in the system.
Fri night it finally gets shipped out.

It's a good thing I asked for overnight

Maybe I've been too spoiled to the Egg releasing my shipments and shipping them out on the same day.

Not cool, two days is pretty fast for most dealerships. The only reason New Egg can ship out the same day for some orders is because of their automated system. Chances are from the point you order to when it gets to you, the only human that touched your item is the delivery guy. Not sure if ZipZoomFly works the same, but two days is very reasonable.

98% of Egg orders are shipped the same day :D That was a cool article. Thx

Well if you consider a 2day turnaround time to ship an industry standard, then I suppose they met it.

Wow. From the Egg...I placed an order 6 hours ago. And I just got my first tracking number via email.

A while ago, someone posted up a video showing Eggs fairly amazing automated dispatch system & warehouse.
I'm sure that nobody can get it right all the time, particularily considering the volume of sales. But egg seems to have spent the money on developing infrastrucucture that gives them every chance.

This is all far less amazing to me. I deal with inventory and rush orders every day.
