My little sister sent 1,300 text messages last month. Congrats for winning the marketing gimmic award.

How many minutes do your girls use up?

my daughter did as bad, she took a buttload of pictures and sent them via email to herself, that was a 200.00+ bill!
i took a hammer and nail to the lens on her phone so no more pics!!
she's a bit upset with me... :pityparty:
too bad.
i re-explained the phone I GAVE HER to use as a means of VERBAL
communication, not for her personal amusement or entertainment. thats what the internet is for! at least thats a flat rate!
and no i wont get a pix/txt plan, 4 cell phones in the family is enough!

i wont even bring up the "Get It Now" era.... i had verizon turn off that feature right quick!

LOL! I like your style :D
I could almost imagine the expression on her face as you drive that nail :D

At first, I had a 500msg text plan for $5. I figured, why would anyone need to send more than that? Then the bill comes for $100 for 1,300 messages  She is going to pay it herself, but you know that's not the damn point. She alrleady heard my voice on it :D FYI, unlimited text, at least for Sprint, is only $15 just in case you consider it.

Man, these kids will have arthritic thumbs by mid 20's.

Well I have a funny one to add. A couple of months ago, I got my better 1/2 a mobly. And at age 26, she is no more resistant to the text urge than the teenagers described here lmao. She had always maintained that if she had a phone she wouldn't use it much.. so we got her one on a very inexpensive pre-paid plan. But she lives on the thing and now we can't find a pre-paid plan extensive enough for her use lol.
