I had to return my faulty Asus motherboard today. I followed the retailers instructions who said make sure it is insured for the correct value in case the post office lose it.
Guess what? .... It cost £18.50 to send back :scared: anything cheaper was only insured up to £32 :wtf:
I have contacted the retailer regarding having the money refunded as I already spent enough with them only to find I was sent a faulty motherboard and dont see why I should be penalised any further. I understand the real culprit is Asus for sending out a duff board but I did not buy the board from Asus ...
I have only had to do a few RMA's before and the cost and the cost was not outrageous and in fact kustompcs without asking refunded the postage money without asking when my ram was tested and found to be faulty but they are the only ones to do so.
Personally I think if a product is found to be faulty the postage should be refunded automatically. I hate to admit this but with a PC World just down the road I could just take it back without any problems. I now have to wait for the board to be tested as it is not dead you just cant load any OS on it lol
Regards
