A few week sago I picked up the absurdly large ThermalTake Symphony and a bunch of other parts including an Asus XTX 1900 512. It seems like I have to assume literally NO support from companies. As Everytime I have gone online to get any. I have been completely thwarted by inept webmasters.

Example A) Thermaltake
http://www.thermaltake.com/support/TechSupport/tech_index.asp

I dare you to try and actually fill that page out and submit it. It's been broken for weeks. I tried emailing every thermal take email address I could find and dozens I've just made up (support, webmaster, admin, etc). But gotten no response of any kind from anyone.
(note: this will be the last product from thermaltake I ever by. I will also be warning others of making any similar purchases)

Example B) Asus Support Faq
http://support.asus.com/faq/faq.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

The card I got works great. All of the neat little piece of software I got with it work great(more or less). But I'm really stocked to find this "Game Replay" software they claim comes bundled with the card. It's some kind of fraps-like game capture program. It's mentioned all over the box, All over the bundle packaging, even in some of the cardboard cd holders that came with the mess of games. But I can't find the software anywhere on any of the cd's nor can I find it in any of the other piece of software as a sub section.

If you go to the faq page listed above. Any query you enter will result in every item in the FAQ being displayed, all 541 items.
Also when you try to comment in any of the entries "does this FAQ solve your problem?" clicking the submit button again does jack sh][t.

Why do I freakin bother?

Spend many hundreds or Euros on these top of the line components (the symphony still is the largest, and at the time the xtx1900 was as good as it got) and you get no service after the sale. It's like buying a ferrari and having to change your own oil. Perposterous!!!!

Next time...It will just have to be a mac.

I feel for you, but no matter how bad it gets it can never be as bad as owning a Mac ;)
