My brother in law Peter as I still call him and whom I have known since he was 14 years old has been fighting stomach cancer. He had the stomach removed and has been going through chemo with all that entails .... Well yesterday we all found out that it has spread to the Lymph Nodes and he has been given 6 months to live ....... He is 42 years old

its never easy hearing news like that, usually the only good thing that comes out of that is we appreciate life just a little bit more today than yesterday.
my thoughts are with you and your family Ben.

Peter died last night ... I managed to see him for an hour last night (10pm-11pm) and say what I needed to say. He could not speak and to be honest it was the scariest and sadest thing I have seen. What cancer can do to the human body is almost unbelievable. Peter passed away on our way home (it is a 90\120min trip) he had just turned 43 years old

Wow, that really sucks. I guess once it hits the lymph you dont have much time? Thats what happened with my great uncle, he had colon cancer, it spread to his liver and lymph nodes and that was that.

So sorry to hear that bigben. At least the veil of agony has been lifted and he can rest in a better place.
