WD and Segate cut warranty

That settles it for me....no more WD drives ever! I have RMAed 3 in last 6 months. If they won't stand behind them, I won't buy them. If they made better drives...they wouldn't have to worry about the warranty and neither would we. Sorry but this really pisses me off!:mad:

perhaps its time to go back to the ibm drives? i hear theve finally upped the warranty to include 24/7 operation... from 8 hours a day like it was before
