It seems the local shop or something has the internet access, you have to pay but it is used to contact friends and family. No idea if it is broadband hahahaha or sattelite etc maybe I can stick a router in without em looking and run a long cable :D

The problem with living in Miami, like I do, is places like that get old LOL.

I got the Bahamas only a few hours on boat trip away, I got the entire east coast of Florida to my disposal. How bout sand that literally feels like baby powder? I drive 1 hour to the west and here I am on the west coast of Florida. I went to Aruba for a week......felt like I was still in Miami LOL.

And I'm willing to give it all up for a nice country house in the middle of New England :( I miss New Jersey and the country side I lived in :(

According to the GF the sand in Miami\Florida is not the same (whatever that means lol) and the water is nowhere near as nice, rougher and not as warm (dont ask me) ... We did think about the Bahamas but thought it was a little bit crowded and the GFs sister has been there which on its own is enough to stay away  ;)

I guess we all crave for the opposites to what we know :)

Yeah the sand is Miami is ok...but this is where the West coast comes into play :D I'm not a beach person anymore, and I was truly impressed with the sand on our west coast. Just imagine dumping like 10lbs of baby powder in a bucket and stepping on it. That's EXACTLY how it felt.

The Bahamas...yeah you gotta know when to go. But I haven't been there in a while. Got tired of it all LOL.

I AM curious about that little island though.....only because I love little secluded areas like that :)

Yeah west coast fl is killer beaches. i heard that the gulf is so shallow you can wade miles and miles if you wanted to. Places I been at least have been more family style. Miami definately has the eye candy and the good party scene although Ybor city in tampa definately close second. I've spun @ salvation in north miami several times years back. Is that place still alive?
