i would be interested if i didnt think we would crash into our own moon, im sure nobody took that into account!!

I understand that this is all in fun, but the logic escapes me.
The idea is that if we all jump at the same time it will knock the earth into a new orbit, but, people all around the world jumping at the same wouldn't do anything, because we would all be pushing against each other.
Now if people only on one side of the earth jumped at the same time, then we could knock the earth into a new orbit.

I like this orbit. Its worked out pretty well for us so far. In fact.. Isn't it one of the key things that makes our rock suitable for life? I'm taking a stand against jumping lol.

Does anyone know if the planet is still wobbling from that Boxing day Quake/Tsunami?? I know it apparently buzzed like a bell for months afterwards.
