Since I don't do SETI, I don't know anything about forming a team. If a group of LN peoples wanted to start a team, we would back it 100%, but...it's really got to be up to someone else to start it :)

Well if LN starts a team, might give my old LAN box something to do while im not lanning ;) XP1800+@1900mhz on a KR7A running at 166mhz with PC2700 ram, GF2 Pro, SB Live Platinum, 400w Antec, and 40 60GXP RAID-0. My spare parts heh.

Dont have a clue as to how many WU thats good for tho.

Huh. This seti application is blecky. Figgured it would be much more user friendly. Anyway, I cant seem to get more than one PC here to log in at the same time. It just refuses to connect to berkeley. Grr. Cant you connect two pcs using the same username?

Im sure I can do some PHP stat thing, but frankily I have no clue as to how to integrate this with Seti Stats. So yes, any help you can get would be ...helpful :)

you should be able to put it on as many pc's as you like. Just use option 2 i think it is then add your account email (assuming you've already setup an account).

Your best off using seti driver IMO & the command line client, not the screensaver version as it takes twice as long.

hmmm, may well be, i cant tell you at the minute though as i'm not near a seti'ed machine. Its not a firewall or proxy at your end is it ?

maybe berkleys bandwidth problems then ? I guess the sign up & WU servers will be different ? Is it saying anything ot just timing out ?

p.s. once you've managed to download a WU, get a caching util such as seti driver (http://www.wakeassoc.com/setidriver/) and set it to a 100 cached for example then the berkley bandwidth problems wont be such a pain in the a$$ for you :)

KMS, i was able to log in after a few tries. Using the NT service now...seems to work okay. Yeah been thinking of using a seti cacher...damn.

no worries, if you've a client crunching now just close it, d/load & install seti driver or the likes and run seti driver. I think all you have to do is tell seti driver the path to your client and how big a cache you want and it picks all other info up from the .sah files that the clients made.
