that is cool actually.. until you see an example like that, you dont really get the full impact of the step up in quality!

it does look good and i have to admit i cant help looking in my local electrical store at their HD TV they have got on there which they run on a demo sequence and the quality is incredible

Keeping in mind that you don't sit as close to your tv as you do your pc.;)

Definetly a difference. Seems the contrast and black levels of the HD version are off compared to the DVD. Looks less colorful and much more grey.

Some things on HD are just hard to watch. Here in DC they started the News now in HD and wow, talk about a soft focus before. I can't watch the News in HD anymore, the anchors faces disturb me :D
