AOL price going up!!!!

They are raising the price $2 everywhere are thay nuts!! I guess they figure since it is nearly impossible to cancel your service without a 45 minute call to a rude and insistant customer service representitive! my mom has aol just for the email looks like i'll be moving her to Netzero or people pc. anybody here still on aol :wtf:

you can keep your aol name and mail and cancel aol.
i nix'd aol a while back but still use my email accounts just fine.
if you threaten to cancel they offer to drop price to 7.95 if you already have dsl.
if not, verizon is offering 512/128 dsl for 14.95/mo currently.

it took me 5 minutes to cancel aol and I use there email every once and a while

aol is losing users like crazy
