An Australian tourist has been charged with assault after telling a Texas woman to stop talking on her mobile phone at the movies.

I hope the Judge uses Comman sense and lets this person off all charges.. Any person who talks on a cellphone during a movie @ a theater deserves to be slapped silly IMHO.:mad:

Amazing that she pressed charges, even when facing charges of her own if she did. What a nasty cow. Hmm mental note..."don't tap large Texan women on the shoulder" lol.

Two things:

Don't touch someone that you don't know, ever.
And, I can't remember the last time I was at a movie without getting annoyed by someone that was either talking, reading every subtitle out loud or just flat out acting like an jerk.

Theaters are old hat. Movies seem to come out on DVD 3 months after the release anyway.
Plus I can drink beer at my theater :drinky:

Too many "rights" not enough common sense. She may have invaded the woman's presonal space but the other woman stole the ability to enjoy the gay porn she paid to watch.

It's illegal to use a cell phone without a hands free device in NJ. There should be a similar law in movie theaters.

even if there was hands free it would still be anoyying having someone talking during a movie

what would the hands free device do?
