I must have been hit with the bad computer user stick at night.

So I bought an OCZ PowerStream 600w from Ebay. I get it, and the unit is in excellent shape as advertised. I plug it in to the motherboard............nothing. The PSU flashes for one second.

I take out the PSU, jump the required cables to kick it on, and it turns on. I Vtested each rail and are all well within spec, but when I hook it up to something as simple as a DVD-Rom, it can't even supply power to that! It turns on, but no molex devices even work on it.

I ended up getting ANOTHER RMA # from OCZ.

DOH!! /Me puts away the credit card and gets the soldering iron, vrs, and plain old rat nest cabled antec psus back out of the closet. That sucks man, you're not alone it seems w/ these 600s though.. I wonder if thats one of the recalled 1st gen 600s that made it off the assembly line. I hope it didnt hurt the FX!!! or is this a cruel April fool?

Ouch

ebay has always made me nervous.

That ultra supply That gave up on me would power my dauther 1 g basic system but would not even think of power up my system. It just could not come up under load maybe the same problem with yours.
