Yahoo tool sends local info to cell phones

Yahoo is looking to join Google in the mobile business. Yahoo version will allow users to send local search information directly to their cell phones via SMS (text messaging). Yahoo's service is available across all major cell phone providers and the service doesn't cost you anything. Unless your cell service charges for receiving messages. Personally I prefer Google's method of allowing you to conduct a search from your cell phone instead, but it is handy to have this info on hand when you are going somewhere.
