ok hers whats up i just got a evga nvida 6800 gt "ddr3 256" 8 X any way i feel as if tho i have yet to feel the ture power of this card iv played metal of honer and mircosoft flight simulator 2004 "with setting set to the max" yet im still getting short lock ups "not bad olny about 1/10 of a second" yet i still see it and it bugs the living crap outta me id think with this card that wouldnt happen do u think i might of over looked something ? of ame i just too picky ?
my res isnt that high soo .... also im looking for a nice s-ata hard drive for a array yet im on a 200 daller budget any susgetions? :homer:

dang man i hate hearin that .....ive had the worst luck with evga..even back to the ti 4200 s...but i dont have any sugggestions :( sorry

its not a super biggy i can get rid of it if i turn the settings down a lil bit but i m jw if i missed something and id love to oc it but i have no idea how

Other than the newest drivers 66.93, you may try defragging the HDD.

Use this registry tool to unlock the built in overclocking utilities in the driver.

Did you properly install the drivers when switching out cards? This doesn't apply unless you're going from ATI to nVidia or updating from a previous version.

I had similar problems when going from an FX5500 to a 6800 on a machine that only had nvidia cards.. get that nvidia shredder or whatever util it is and give that a shot... it will remove all traces of a nvidia card being in your machine and then reinstall your drivers of choice
