Just picked one up at Best Buy for $89.99 w/2 $30 mail in rebates OR you can fill out rebates online. Not a big drive or anything but not a bad final price for 80gigs. Ends this Sat.

Theres no telling how much "retail" money has been made from that one particular marketing strategy. Imagine how many people, or the ratio of, that will buy with intent, and then miss the opportunity for one reason or another.

Best Buy is pretty good about it at least. Ive had lots of rebates come back as 'invalid' for some reason or another, but Ive always gotten by BestBuy rebates. And the extra receipts are nice and such. I try to buy from my friendly neighborhood online merchants as much as I can though these days, we need money too ;)
