Hi Wes,
XP seems to like to throw the BSOD, using that title when it is overclocked too much.
In MOST cases, if you back it down you will boot into OS and all will run fine.
Lecture/Reminder time: Just remember to have a current image/backup/restore point made cause you know what will happen if ya don't.
Then you should be OK.
Take care........

hey lee,
Thanks bud.
Btw... It will boot into windows even if i don't back it down.. but sooner or later it will crash. :D
I knew the current image thing was coming.. i'am working on getting ghost. But like everything else, it costs money.
Yeah i know what will happen alright..

Hi Wes,
Yes, everybody hates for me to bring it up, but..........
Save your money and use restore points.
Here is a how to from MS that we use, so help yourself and maybe you can save a few bucks for a new "toy" later:
Restore points:
• Navigate to Start|Programs|Accessories|System Tools|System Restore
• An additional path may be Start|Run|Restore. This method will require that the System Restore executable be launched by the tester. RSTRUI.EXE.
• When the System Restore user interface or wizard is launched, you will need to select the radio button that indicates “Create a restore point” then choose the “Next” button.
• Follow the instructions given by the wizard to create a restore point. This is as easy as giving it a descriptive name, "Wes 1" for example. You will have that restore point for later, if needed.
• If your system will not boot to protected mode, i.e. you loaded a particularly flaky display adapter driver. You must boot to SAFE MODE and then you may access System Restore via the same path as protected mode.
• Launch system restore and this time choose the radio button that is labeled “Restore my computer to an earlier time”. Choose the “Next “ button.
• The next screen will allow you to select the restore point or system checkpoint you would like to revert your system to. Use the calendar on this page to select a date in BOLD type and then select the proper restore point. For testing purposes use the restore point that you created and named. Again, select the “Next” button.
• Confirm Restore Point Selection. If this is correct then advance the wizard, if not then go back and make the necessary adjustments before proceeding. This will initiate the restore process and your system will be restored to the selected time.
Just in case you or anyone else forgot how to do it.
Take care........

OK,
Bout all I can say at this point is , if you get the prog runnin', get the restore done as fast as you can.
You may need to back off till stock, get the backup, then sneak up again.
Food gor thought.
Take care........

Hi Wes,
I don't know, but would venture to guess that it needs to go on the OS hard drive, so will go out on a limb and say no.
You don't have anything to loose, so give it a try.
The worst it will do is not work.
Take care........
