Your know how u can plug up two moniters up to a graphics card by using the dvi and vga (i think thats whats its called). Well with the new SLI motherboards with the dual graphics cards can u plug up 4 moniters? And also is there another way to plug up more moniters, ive seen it swordfish but i know that came out before the SLI motherboards. I wanna know if its possible to plug up more moniters instead of the maybe 4 like in swordfish

there are 2 DVI ports but you get 2 special cables with the card for 2 monitors per port.
with adapters you can even use 4 analog monitors

Yes, you can have 4 displays if you have 2 video cards with 2 outputs each on motherboards with SLI.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it works like that wacky. Even when using SLI you only need one cable/monitor attched. The way I see it, is that it combies them and makes them1, so only dual display possable.

yeah wes is partly right i think, You can only hook up monitors to the 'primary' graphics card. The 'secondary' graphics card outputs are disabled, So you are still limited to 2 video outputs, at least thats how i think it works.

Hmm thats odd, I know a hardware review site did have 2x PCI-E ATI x600xt's in non-sli with 4 monitors attached.. which would work because its two seprate cards acting as 2 seperate cards.
Guess I can find out, I got my PCI-E 6600GT coming ;) Soon as DFI hits the streets i'll pick it and a 2nd 6600GT up.
