3D holographic storage should be here in 2006 with sizes that start at 200GB and go all the way up to 1.6TB

Over one million bits of data can be stored within a "3D page", which InPhase says can be read or written in a single flash of the drive's laser. This means its Tapestry range should offer very high-speed access as well as large capacity.

thats crazy, i wonder how much it will cost. Probably a grip of money, only businesses will probably buy the 1.6TB one. I couldnt see any use for all of that space except for movies and programs >.>...download whole series and such
