Audigy 2ZS worth it?

Hi fellas,

After a long time using the NF7-S 2.0 on-board sound I think that maybe it's time to buy sound card again but I'm not sure if it worth it. I'm considering the SB Audigy 2ZS but I have a few questions before I throw the money:

1- Would I notice a huge diff in terms of sound quality?

2- Would games perform any better with the PCI sound card?

1.) With the right speakers, for sure. I notice a difference between the Audigy 1 and the Audigy 2ZS.

2.) Yep, the Audigy will use less CPU than the onboard sound. Plus you will have better EAX effects in games. The performance difference probably wouldnt even be noticible really.

Also, theres the Audigy 4 out now...if you want the most up to date one.

I never even heard anything about Audigy 3???Are they tryin to follow in WinAmp's steps or something
