Well this is what my laptop is coming with. Ive never actually owned a P4, let alone overclocked one. I doubt the laptop has any overclocking features on it.

Is there some software way to crank this up? If only just a tash?

If you can figure out what PLL it has then there is plenty of chance to overclock it.

you never know, it might even have the options in the BIOS!!

a lot of the generic laptops will use somewhat standard mobo's but i seriously doubt you will be able to cool the p4 to your own standards P0

No...im scared to break it...this is going to be my 'normal' box hehe. The one i wont do crazy shiznit to ;)

i recall reading an article somewhere that the backside of the screen can make quite the radiator for the proc.. the only problem was getting the heat there....
