So, what's the deal with Steam?
I've read some complaints here and there that you can't play Half-Life 2 on dial up.
Do you have to connect to servers every time you wish to play, do you have to stay connected while you're playing?
Has anyone seen anything official about this?
Could one of you with DSL or cable unplug your network cable while playing and see what happens?
I'm not going to pay $50+ dollars for a game that I can't play just because Valve doesn't want to lose money. (Does that make sense?)
