I have a chaintech 7njs mobo and a mobile 2600 xp and a 420 watt power supply with liquid cooling all around. The problem i am having is that when i increase the voltage regulator to 1.9 i reboot and check the pc health status and it says that the cpu vcore 1.6.

What can be making this problem???

bit unusal the reading maybe inaccurate.. if you put the vcore to 1.6v in BIOS does the temp drop or remain the same?

I have a liquid cooling system, temp changes dont occur fast enough to tell..... when i lower the voltage to below 1.6 the Vcore readings match that, its only when i go over 1.6 do the numbers change
do you think that a bigger power supply would help out?

what does MBM report? or even sandra?
my nf7-s reports 1/2 to 3/4 volts lower than i set it to in windows (mbm or pcdoctor)
i like to depend on temps rather than voltage, fortunately MBM5 reports pretty accurately my temps as compared to bios readings.
if you have a multimeter and some big cahunas, i could find out what pins to check on the back of the board at the CPU to check for real voltages, if not then IMHO trust your temps, i too have a 2600-m btw.
Datsin, what bios are you using?;) cuz i'm rock solid at 11x230 @1.825v

I replaced my mobo with my bro's mobo and i was able to overclock till my heart pretect stepped in. Damn that other. I still cant pass the 210 FSB mark stabily, i think it might have to do with memory timings. I can start up windwos but it cant run any 3d intense application without shutting down. Im currently running at 1.85 volts to the vcore, i have liquid cooling so there is no temp problems yet. Have any new ideas on how to get my fsb up higher?

heh.. I'm kinda lost. What board are you using now? Is it the same board that won't pas 210FSB? What ram? What timings?
There is a limit for everything, water cooled or not. Give me some detailed info and i'm sure we can help.

i have a chaintech 7njs ultra, with 512mb 2x256 corsair xms 3200 CL2 optimal 9,4,4,3 timings 11,2,2,2 thru 13,3,3,3 always give some kind of problem running at 2.6 volts , radeon 9800 xt oc'ed to 480/780 with 1.6 volts and oh lets see, athlon xp m 2600 with 1.85 vcore, all around liquid cooling on CPU VPU and Northbridge. 420 watt psu. Hope this will help......

Unless that ram is using BH-5 chips, I doubt it will go much higher. The xms C2 I had only did 200mhz 2-2-2-11 on my NF7-S no matter how many volts I gave them. They only mustered 225mhz 2-2-2-11 in my Athlon 64 rig.
Try rasing your Vdimm and Northbridge Voltage and see if it will go any higher.

i got lucky, my xms is bh-5 so 5,2,2,2 and 11x240@1.9v seems mostly stable. if i gave it 2.0v i am almost sure it will prime.
also i scored 7064 combined in bandwidth now!! 3642/3422:)

Yeah i figured it was my ram, i could never get the timmings right, thanks for the help, christmas is comming up soon so i might just get a new pair of ramsticks......
Hey synthohol what kind of cooling do you use?

asetek waterchill antarctica on that one:)
the review may be back up soon. (it needed help)
click my "system specs" link for details
you should see if there is a tic-tac bios for your board, the mantaray xt cpc off did wonders for stability over 220fsb
