It's happened Again.

Hi all,
It's happened again.. windows xp took a crap and told me that a root file was missing.. ok no big deal... I'll just reinstall xp. Well turns out that xp wont' install b/c it says i have a bad harddrive. Now i'am pissed off! Good thing i did'nt reformat that 20gig yet otherwise i would'nt have anything. So i busted out one of my 1gigers and installed xp on that. I'am down to like 70megs on this 1giger. OK back to my question.

How long of a warrenty do westren digital harddrives have?
This one is a little over a year old.

I think you have a 3 year warrenty from WD. Did you go to WD's website to get an RMA?

Anyway I have yet to start crunching with the dual gig(will be needing your help lee but I need to post that problem in another forum)
