View Full Version : Unable to run TV on my AiW

I have a ati all in wonder 9600 pro and tonight is started acting up. when i was in the middle of watching tv the sound just cut off and after a reboot of the system the Tv will not even come on. everytime i try to launch it, it comes up and say's unable to start tv and then i run the system check which passes with flying colors. Help!!

sounds like a service failed to start, maybe re-install the drivers?

i have already reinstalled the ati catalyst and ati multimedia center. no luck

have you checked your cable signal to a real tv?

yes there is a signal.but even if it would not have any signal, the program would of least come up but just be a blank screen

maybe try re-seating the card, ya never know.
does ati have a faq section?

just looked in the ati FAQ. no real help. i also restarted my computer and reseated the card. no help. i really dont know what is going on

man that sucks, will the program start in safe mode?

well i think it is official. my tv tuner is dead. i have tryed it in safe mode. same thing. i have ripped out every peice of software they is even incorportated with ti and reinstalled it, nothing. i have reseated the card 3 times, nothing. sigh. but on the bright side i guess it is a excuse for me to buy a x800 all in wonder, if they make them
