i've seen this in my local webstore
http://www.overclocking.be/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=1277&ps_session=f202f425a2443461336849a91ee283af
its with the new 533 chipset and i want to set it up with a P4 2266 ( it has a rather low multi , so you can boost up the fsb quite a bit, but that was with DDR ram, i think ?? ! )
can you achief high ( and stable ) fsb's with RD rimms ?
the rimm info=> PC4200 Single Sided 256Mb 8pcs. met een access time van 32ns (partnumber MD16R1628AF0-CN9DF).
that's it a package its incl. the ram
or should i go to the DDR ? and thus cheaper , more overclockable ?
the cpu will be cooled with a maze 3 i think

look...
there's quite some problems with the asus p4t533...
let's face it.. in theory, there's not a single ddr board amd/intel or even other rd-ram board that even gets close to the power of this board.
this is a board that easily gets 4400 on the sisoft sandra membench when you overclock it. so that is HIGH
however the board is not stable, just check JCViggens review @ Xtremesystems.org, and the thread about this board at [H]forums.
there's way too much uncertainty, over 50% of the boards have severely fluctuations in +5 and +12V lines with every psu used, so that makes this board a very bad OC-tool...
I would not advise you to go with this board now... wait a bit until they revise it, the power is there, but with the current batch you won't be getting it out.
if you're planing on watercooling, the 2.26 is good, You'll get it over 3 gig easy.
that would mean : 17*175-180 or so... there's two possibilities, you go with rdram and you put it on 3.fsb instead of 4, you'l need pretty good ram to do rdram @180x4 (quadpumped, most will do it at 3*)...(meaning : you won't find none yet)
or you go with ddr-ram which you'll easily run @ max settings at that fsb, or you could even try to run it at 3:4 ratio (meaning @ 160 fsb you ram would do 212-214 mhz (low timings))... you will NOT be able to run 180 @ 3:4 so you'll probably lose quite some cpupower for rampower.
however if you do choose to go ddr ram it would be smarter to go for a 2.4b coz that multiplier will get you with watercooling to 3 gig for example at a fsb of 165... that's a fsb that will give you the possibility to run very good ram (geil ddr433 for example) @ 215 mhz...
that'll give you a p4@3 gigahertz with awesome membandwith.
I use rdram. :p for my rig.
It goes @ 191 mhz fsb (191*3) @ 3250 mhz max, 3170 3dmark and primestable
