Sup guys, i've been procrastinating and saving my cash for a new rig. I want to build a top of the line, water cooled, gaming pc. I was thinking about dropping the dough this winter break over Christmas. Do you guys think it will be a good time to build? I want to build a computer that i can expand on... at least 2 pci-x slots - for possibly SLI , amd64, DDR2 etc. ARe chipsets dialed in yet? DDR2 times good enough? Right now i'm just interested in some feedback. Thanks guys

AMD64 doesnt support DDR2. PCI-x high end video cards are still rare, and NF4 isnt mature yet. SLI is definitely a ways off.

Good time to upgrade, but not a good time to build scratch.
