HVD / Holographic Versatile Disc

Came across this little beauty. I can't imagine something looking better than 1080p, but somewhere I read that traditional movies have scan lines in the range of 4000-5000 which means there is actually still room for improvement?
I bet George Lucas would have a field day converting his trilogies into HVD.

We are living in the Age of Energy. The fossil fuel based economy of the present must give way to the renewable energy based economy of the future. Getting there is the grandest challenge humanity faces. Chemistry can help meet this challenge by discovering new materials that efficiently harvest solar radiation, store energy for later use, and reconvert the stored energy when needed.

Some 50 percent of Vaserv's customers signed up for unmanaged service, which doesn't include data backup, Foster said. It remains unclear of those website owners will ever be able to retrieve their lost data, he said. As a result, at least half the websites that were hosted on the site remain offline.

Furious letters are flying everywhere on the net about the adverts which point out that when the economy is in tatters the last thing you want to do is spend more than $1000 on a computer which does less than those that are cheaper. The television ad shows a young woman who's confused by the...

The ad ends with Jane jumping in joy, but -understandably- Apple and its supporters are not as happy.
